Sing with me, “I can see clearly now the rain is gone, I can see all the obstacles in my way…”

Sing with me, “I can see clearly now the rain is gone, I can see all the obstacles in my way…”

“I can see clearly now the rain is gone. I can see all the obstacles in my way…” Remember that song?

In today’s Blog, we will cover the second “C”  in the “Sailing the 7 “C’s” to success, which is Clarity.

There is simplicity and complexity in business and in life. As a “Boldly Brilliant” entrepreneur, we want passion, purpose AND profitability that can sustain us. In a business, there is much going on day to day. We are bombarded by online and offline communications of how we “should” run our business and live our life. We try to do everything ourselves. It seems like there is never enough time or money.

In sorting through the blasts of overwhelm, we can lose our passion, our purpose and our profits. If we want to move from the complexity of overwhelm to the simplicity of clarity, we need focus. This focus will give us Clarity. With clarity, we get better results. We reach our goals. We succeed.      11910275_s

There are 3 practices that will move you to clarity.

For these practices, get out of the usual and go somewhere different to assess (even if it’s the local library, the beach is my favorite spot). Block out distractions and beware shiny objects. A great place to go is a retreat center to get clarity. Maybe you would like to go the mountains, the ocean, stay in a hotel or at a friend’s house. Find a place where you can truly focus.

1. Take time to check in, with your “self” and with your business. Evaluate the present and the “What”. What’s happening in the business/life right now? What’s working? What’s not working? What do I need to move the business forward?

Maybe it is:

Get new clients.

A heart centered focus.

Change the marketing plan.

Need a mentor or coach.

Get help in the form of a VA or Personal Assistant.

Get your own personal trainer.

2. Focus on what you do want. Create or recreate your mission. Look at your vision in a new way or revise your vision completely. Explore your “Why”. Why am I doing this? Losing passion can be agony. And, passion is why we started our
Business. Rediscover your passion and why you do what you do every day.

3. After 1 and 2, you will have built the foundation of the “what” and “why” in your business. Next, what do you need to get there? How will you do it? What actions are needed? Clarify your new goals. Set your plan and you will succeed!

For success in your business, you need clarity. Find out more about the 7 “C’s” and how to see clearly now at http://www.Facebook.com/BeBoldlyBrilliant

The biggest change for me in creating clarity was when I got myself a coach. Sometimes we can sort it out ourselves, but most of us get to a point where we need help. My best move ever and now my business soars!

Love and marriage…. go together like a horse and carriage… Sing that one with me!
Thanks for this post. Clarity plus focus moves into intentional, conscious action.
Although I can’t get away to a retreat right now, you helped create the retreat atmosphere and intention. Thanks for the steps and the questions.
